Class Descriptions

Hot Power

Hot Yoga comprises a series of challenging yoga postures practiced in a heated room, with an average temperature of 40ºC. The high heat induces muscles to release deeper and more effectively then at cooler temperatures. At the same time, the body’s natural detoxification and cleansing processes are augmented through activation of the sweat glands. Students in this class will practice postures that focus on breath awareness, strength, balance, endurance, flexibility, and detoxification. You will stretch, sweat, strengthen and smile more than you thought possible – so drink lots of water before and during class, bring a towel and enjoy yourself!

Hot Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa flow is a vigorous, energetic, heat building class that coordinates breath with movement. Postures flow gracefully from one to another, building strength, flexibility and concentration while cleansing the body and calming the mind. Come stretch, laugh and SWEAT with us :)))

Hot Hatha

Hot Hatha is a challenging series of hot yoga postures and breathing exercises that works the body from the inside out, from the micro to the macro level. The heated room reduces the risk of injury and facilitates the release of bodily toxins. This class will warm you up, challenge you in new and fun ways and is perfect for the beginner student or the senior practitioner alike.

Hatha & Yoga Nidra

Each Hatha & Yoga Nidra class will begin with yoga postures that strengthen, stretch, tone and relax your entire body and will end with easy and practical meditation techniques to help you learn to cope better with stress and improve your physical and mental well-being. The Hatha poses you will learn are the same as many of the postures that you will experience in other classes, the only difference is that the pace is slower; allowing you to work more on the alignment and form of each pose. Every class is balanced to give you a full body workout, while focusing on breathing mindfully and quieting the mind. The class will end with a full Yoga Nidra practice; a state of conscious yogic sleep. The class will be guided into incredible states of calmness, quietness and clarity through guided imagery, breath awareness and body scanning while lying in the comfortable state of Savasana.

Ebb and Flow

Creative and intelligent sequences are seamlessly woven together creating a moving meditation. Balancing strength and flexibility, the circular movements  in this flow demand your complete presence, encourage you to slow down and change the way you move. Halfway through this class we’ll naturally begin to settle into hip openers and back bends. Spend lots of time unwinding in your floor postures to fully turn inward. This’s well rounded class is done to the background of good music and ends with a lengthy savasana.


Yin yoga is a powerful practice which targets tendons, ligaments and fascia within the body. Each posture during a Yindulgence yoga class is held for long periods of time (3 to 10 minutes each) to encourage the slow and safe opening of connective tissues, leaving the yogi with an overall feeling of lightness, spaciousness and peace. Come connect and collect in this deliciously restorative, all levels class.

Yin and Tonic

Yin yoga with a Registered Massage Therapist present for deep and nourishing massage and adjustments. Absolutely nourishing and delicious and a perfect way to end the day.

Power Lunch

Power lunch is an excellent way to fit an uplifting and invigorating yoga practice into a busy schedule. A quick paced, energizing class with a calming finish to help you centre yourself before returning to your day’s work.

Slow Flow

This is a deep, slow, juicy flow class to increase body awareness & cultivate inner resilience.  Come challenge yourself and open your heart, body and mind to all the possibilities that lie within you.  You will leave this all levels class.


Yin Yang Yoga blends two styles of yoga into one practice – bringing together the benefits of more dynamic sequences and standing postures to begin the class and slowing down for the second half with passive surrendering to poses with props.


Maintain a sense of wellness and resilience by gifting yourself this 75 minute practice. Explore postures that first invite you to release tension and stress. Next, reconnect with playfulness and balance. Finally, prepare for the coming days with powerful postures. If life were a race, this class would be the pit stop for your soul.

Pure Flow

This is a constantly moving, energetic and fun class! Flowing between powerful poses, this class is designed to get your out of your head and into your body!

Warm Restore More

Connect to yourself through movement and breath in a warm room of about 30c. A balance of slow, flowing movement and calming, restorative relaxation to replenish the body and mind.

Bedtime Bliss

Ready for a restful sleep? Come unwind from your day, relax your body and calm your mind for a sweet, replenishing slumber.

Karma Yoga

This is a DONATION class!!!! Open to advanced and beginner practitioners alike ~ this class is for those who want to make yoga a part of their lives and who want to feel a sense of community and contribution. Suggested donation is $5 and 100% of the proceeds from the class will go Peaceful Path Yoga Project ~ a local NPO offering free yoga and meditation to vulnerable and marginalized members of our community.

Relax and Renew

Join us for this gentle yoga practice which aims to restore and support your physical, emotional and mental health. Focus is placed on alignment, breath work and calming meditation. Suitable for all levels.

Candlelight Restorative Touch

Take time to relax, restore energy and wind down from your day. In each pose, we use a variety of props to support ourselves fully in order to achieve muscular release. During the poses, gentle adjustments and massage techniques will be done to help deepen your practice.

Yoga For Teens

In our high speed, media-based world, many teenagers are confronted by a host of challenging issues ranging from low self esteem to body image problems and intense peer pressure to conform to the notions of others – what can amount to a heavy burden for a young person to carry. Yoga for teens helps these leaders of tomorrow find the tools within themselves to shoulder the load a little easier. Strength, confidence, flexibility, concentration, determination, a calm heart and a clear mind are just a few of the benefits that yoga can bring. Helping teens to help themselves! Shannon has been teaching Children’s Yoga and Yoga for Teens in the Ottawa Valley’s Public School System for 5 years. Private and group sessions available upon request.

Prenatal Yoga

Helping to make the passage into life an empowering and peaceful one for both mama and baby. This class creates a safe and inviting space for women, allowing them to open and share similar experiences with one another while preparing for child birth. With emotionally grounding postures, breath work and meditation, this class helps women to move through their fears and discomforts, while fine-tuning their bodies in preparation for labour. A wonderful compliment to any pregnancy, this is a 8 week pre-registered class for women in their second and third trimesters and the cost is $120.

Yin & Yoga Nidra

Calm your mind and relax your body with soothing this Yin & Yoga Nidra class. This gentle, all levels class is designed to allow you to unwind and replenish yourself on all levels. Students will hold passive poses for a few minutes, moving deeper into the posture and allowing themselves to quiet down and centre. Class will end with a Pete’s delicious Yoga Nidra meditation.
