Class Descriptions

WPY Flow
Created by our Teacher Trainers Ally and Maeg this class will have your internal fire stoked.  Move through a mixture of traditional and modern day postures seamlessly linked for a moving meditation. The class has a  structure to observe your progress, with enough space to keep it inspiring and playful.  Enjoy the harmonious feeling of connecting the mind and body with this class. In Studio this class is warmed to 28-30 degrees.

Warm Vinyasa
Flow with your breath as you build heat in your body. Postures flow gracefully from one to another, building strength, flexibility and concentration while cleansing the body and calming the mind. Opportunities are available to play with arm balances and inversions through out the practice!  The room is warmed to 28-30 degrees.

Yin
Yin yoga is a powerful practice which targets tendons, ligaments and fascia within the body.  Each posture during a yin yoga class is held for long periods of time (3 to 10 minutes each) to encourage the slow and safe opening of connective tissues, leaving the yogi with an overall feeling of lightness, spaciousness and ready for bed.  Grab your props. Blanket, bolster, strap and block.  Don’t have them?  Get creative with a scarf or tie for a strap and rolled up towel or blanket to make a bolster.

Yin/Yang
Start your practice settling into your body with a few yin postures and breathing techniques.  With this cultivated inner awareness being to move through a flowing series of standing an balancing postures.  This class is sure to leave you feeling balanced between your yin and yang energy.

Flow
This class is a moving meditation, that is sure to build heat in the body.  Poses are smoothly linked together following the flow of the breath.  Create strength and flexibility with this class to find a harmonious balance.

Move & Meditate
Join us for this gentle yoga practice which aims to restore and support your physical, emotional and mental health. Focus is placed on alignment and  breath work centring your focus inward.  Close class with a guide meditation.

Core and Restore
Find hidden deep core strength that is weaved in between restorative postures.  This class is well balanced and an awesome way to start your Sunday!

Warm Flow
This class is heated to a temperature of 30ºC.  Heat up your body through a creative sequence that will bring you on a moving meditation.

Mysore
This 2 hour space is for Ashtanga yoga practitioners to come in and do their practice under the guidance of a teacher. No Ashtanga or yoga experience is required to get started! This is a supportive space to learn the Ashtanga yoga method as it was taught to teacher, Allison Tomotsugu , and explore the possibilities of self practice. You can arrive for class anytime between 6pm-615pm and leave class when your practice is done. Until COVID regulations change for our studio adjustments and assists will remain verbal at this time.

Prenatal Yoga
This class is designed to help make the passage into life an empowering and peaceful one for both mama and baby. This class creates a safe and inviting space for women, allowing them to open and share similar experiences with one another while preparing for child birth. With emotionally grounding postures, breath work and meditation, this class helps women to move through their fears and discomforts, while fine-tuning their bodies in preparation for labour. A wonderful compliment to any pregnancy!

Mom and Baby Yoga
This pre-registered class series is designed to reclaim your strength, stamina and flexibility all while bonding with your baby through breath and movement. Together we will safely rebuild core strength, connect to a deeper sense of peace and develop an inclusive and supportive community of mamas!

Beginners Yoga
This pre-registered class series is designed to bring you on a journey through movement, breath and meditation.  Learn a foundation of yoga asanas, build body awareness and breathing techniques. Leave feeling comfortable to join any of our regular scheduled classes!
