Intro to Meditation

There are a lot of myths out there about meditation that often get in the way of our ability to integrate this powerful ancient practice into our modern lives. Meditation is not about “turning you mind off”, which is a common frustration for many who have tried this practice! In this go-go-go world, it can feel impossible to find time to slow down, and we are often running on auto-pilot constantly thinking and moving without relief. This can become exhausting, and takes a toll on our mental and physical health. If you are looking to find ways to slow down and connect with yourself amidst your busy life, if you have been wanting to start meditating, or you have tried meditating and became discouraged – this is the course for you! For 6 weeks we will meditate together, learn about the roots of meditation and how we can practice it in our modern lives.
